MCM London 2015 Report

Hi lovely people! Today I'm going to talk about my day at MCM expo in London this past weekend ~ it was super fun and I picked up some really cute items from some of the stalls there! I decided to go very last-minute, and so didn't dress up properly for the occasion. It was actually nice to wear something casual and comfy, as these conventions can get very hot and uncomfortable with all the crowds; apologies for no outfit photo this time! :')

I bought a Saturday Standard ticket a few days beforehand (the more expensive Priority tickets had sold out); this meant I was able to get into the convention from 11am onwards and had to wait in the queue for a little while beforehand. Luckily I got there 90 minutes early and was at the front of the queue, so I headed straight to my favourite stalls as soon as the doors opened!

Dreamy Bows! I was so excited when I spotted the Listen Flavor items on the mannequins and I rushed to the clothing rails straight away! I didn't manage to get any photos of inside the stall, but it was packed full of cute bags, clothes, shoes, accessories, makeup and more.

(These photos were taken at the end of the day, so the floor of the centre was a little messy with wrappers! -.-)

The Tofu Cute stall was joined onto the side of Dreamy Bows and was packed with lots of adorable Amuse plushies. I had to restrain myself from buying any more, as I have run out of room in my flat! XD They had the new series of bedtime (probably not the official correct name oops!) Alpacasso plush which were super pastel and magical looking, as well as Loppys and Pandas! The shop girls were super cute and helpful, as at Dreamy Bows, and looked amazing in their outfits! I hope one day I can work at such a cute store *daydreams* The shop girls are always really helpful and sweet to!

Opposite this, in the 'Kawaii Alley' was the remainder of the Tofu Cute stall, filled with stationery and lots and lots of Japanese treats. There was already a small queue when I arrived, so I quickly queued up to buy some Puccho and Meiji gummies before they sold out ^^

The Japan Centre stall was full of yummy snacks! They also had a selection of Japanese magazines but so many people were looking at them, I couldn't take a picture.

LoveJojo's stall was so adorable and full of cute bargains! She had lots of different Sanrio plushies and stationary, as well as a big range of Alpacasso. I spent ages staring at everything as it was so pink and sweet! She was also giving a free gift as part of a Facebook event, which was very sweet of her! ~

I was really looking forward to having a shaved ice cone from Nice Ice, so I headed to their stall quickly to grab a strawberry-flavoured one. Sadly they didn't have melon this time, but I hope they will at Hyper Japan in July! In any case, it was yummy, and I went back for another one before I headed home that afternoon ^^

There were lots of other amazing stalls around Kawaii Alley, like Roxie Sweetheart, The Kawaii Kollective and Kekiko! Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to take pictures of these to, as it was very crowded and time went very quickly!

I was lucky enough to meet some of my friends who live locally and chat with them, as well as looking around the stalls together! I also spotted lots of adorable Lolita coordinates around the exhibition space, as well as a lot of amazing cosplays.

Here are the things I bought during the day! I *shamefully* spent most of my time shopping as I only spent one day there, but it was definitely worth it as there was so much to see!!

Two Listen Flavor tops! I was ecstatic to find the top on the left, as I had missed buying it at the previous Hyper Japan and I was so happy to have a second chance to buy it. I loved the design on the mermaid top as well as the colour combination. I want to try a blue x pink fairy kei look soon; I also have a shell choker from WEGO in the post which I think will go perfectly.

I don't usually wear much black, but the design is so adorable, I can't wait to make a creepy-cute outfit with it ~

I love how Listen Flavor always puts cute design on the back of their tops, to!

Some of the smaller items I picked up! I already opened some of the Puccho as I couldn't resist!

Eyemazing Lashes from Dreamy Bows. I can't wait to try these out!

My Melody box and gift set from LoveJojo; this was amazing value!

I have wanted to get some cherry hairclips for ever, so I was so happy to spot these! Sadly I can't remember the name of the stall where I bought them.

LTS unicorn purse from the Kawaii Kollective!

Candy from Tofu Cute

Pens from Kekiko

I also bought some candy and a Totoro Catbus figure for my Dad and some other presents which aren't pictured here! ^^

Overall I had a wonderful day and was so happy to meet with lots of my friends during the event! I'm very excited for the upcoming Hyper Japan festival in a little over a month's time; I'm hoping to see lots of my friends and some of my followers there, which will be so much fun before I head to Japan on July 19th!

I hope you all liked this little report, and if you attended, I hope you also had a wonderful time. I'll be working on outfits with the new items I picked up soon!

Love and magic, Cee x

Tofu Cute Review (Amuse)

Good evening cuties! Today I'll be bringing you a mini review of an order I placed with Tofu Cute recently. Though I've visited their stalls at many events as well as the physical shop in Portsmouth, I had never ordered from their website before, and when I saw that they were stocking the 'Lesser Panda' plush from Amuse (the company which makes Alpacasso) I just had to place an order!

After some deliberation, I chose the one with the cute flower on its ear, as it looks so friendly and pretty! (Images property of TofuCute).

I completed my order on the 3rd May, and by the next day I received an update email to say my item had been dispatched, which was super quick and I was very pleased. I've noticed that the staff are very quick to post items when I have ordered from their sister company Dreamy Bows to, so shipping is always very efficient ^^ My item was sent by Standard mail, and arrived a couple of days later.

In a forgetful moment, I didn't take a photo of the package; the plush arrived safely wrapped in a strong postage bag for protection from the rain! The kind staff included a TofuCute postcard, as well as a flyer for the upcoming event Hyper Japan. I was pleased with how carefully the plush was packaged, and this is also something I have noticed when ordering from Dreamy Bows also :)

I was so happy to see this cheerful face when I pulled it out of the package!

The plushie is so soft to the touch, and has lovely detailed stitching on its face.

I forgot how large Lesser Panda tails are, so I was surprised when I turned the panda over and spotted it! It's very cute and reminds me of a raccoon! XD

The tag, as with all Amuse plush, is the cutest! I love the panda character and I'm really hoping that they produce more merchandise featuring him in the near future.

The back of the tag shows the other versions of the plush available in that series. I really like the raccoon one!

Lesser-chan managed to squeeze into a spot on the plushie table!

I'm really happy with how soft and well-made the plushie is, and I've found the same with all of the other Amuse products I've bought in the past.

Overall I was thrilled with how smoothly and quickly my order with Tofu Cute went, and I would definitely place more orders in the future. The postage was very reasonable, and they offer free postage in the UK for orders over a certain amount, which is a lovely bonus if you are buying a large plushie or lots of things at once! They have recently added lots of new items to the online store including lots of Alpacasso and Loppy plush, so I recommend checking it out!

I hope this was a useful post and you enjoyed seeing the adorable Lesser-chan!

Fairy Kei, Gyaru and Lolita Wardrobe Tour!

Hello cuties! Today I'll finally be showing you my wardrobe and my collection of clothing, after wanting to do a closet tour for the longest time! My style is always changing and I like to dabble in different styles, which this tour will show. I hope you'll all enjoy seeing my closet; it's not huge by any means but I'm very proud of how I've built it up in recent years! ^^

This is what my wardrobe looks like! It's built into the wall of my bedroom, and so is fairly small, but I pack as much into it as I can! I also have under-bed box storage for my 'regular' and work clothing. I like to hang most of my clothes, but I never seem to have enough hangers!

Please note that I haven't included accessories or shoes in this post; I may add them at a later date if everyone would like to see them!
